Public Financial Management System. 

The Central Government has announced Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under selected Schemes in selected districts across the country w.e.f. 1.1.2013. This results in transfer of amounts to the beneficiary directly in the Aadhaar linked bank account. thereby eliminating the existing intervening layers.

Role of PFMS

a. PFMS can serve as a common central portal for registering implementing agencies and beneficiaries.

b. PFMS is linked with 90 Banks presently.

here we add the beneficiary in the PFMS system by login with the id and password. We fill the required details with the bank details.

The bank details will get then approved from the corresponding bank. It may take several hours.

Once the beneficiary is verified from the bank, then we can start process to send him money via PFMS.
